About Nauset Garden Club

The Nauset Garden Club will host “Tis the Season” at the Crosby Mansion on November 4-6, This is the seventh time since 1998 that we have decorated the mansion and promise to make it the best ever.

The Crosby Mansion was built by the ship captain, Albert Crosby, and completed in 1888.  It is a thirty-five rooms mansion with fifteen unique fireplaces. The garden club will make the fireplaces sparkle with unique displays of flowers and greenery.  Each room will offer a unique experience as we imagine the captain’s journey around the world.  Come and see all the surprises in store for this year’s event.

The Nauset Garden Club has won the national Federations Historic Preservation Certificate for our effort.

Please use the attached flyer to tell your friends about this event.

The Nauset Garden Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month from September to June at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Orleans. Each month we have a speaker or an event that is of interest to our members. We also do floral designs and horticulture examples at our monthly meetings. Please see our calendar for this year’s program.

Membership is open to residents of Barnstable County. If you would like to become a member please fill out the membership application.

The Nauset Garden Club Pledge:

The Nausets planted and gardened – the keepers of this fragile land.  They respected life all around them and were thankful for the gifts in the sand.  We hope to continue this heritage – and take nothing for granted with this land.  We pledge to preserve if we’re able – this air, water, beauty so grand.
