Who’s eligible to apply?

  • K-12 Public School Teachers in our regional system who are committed to making our planet “greener ” — Brewster, Chatham, Eastham, Harwich, Orleans, Provincetown, Truro & Wellfleet
  • Teachers that will communicate through email with the Nauset Garden Club

What’s the focus for classroom activities that help K-12 students?

checkmarkWork with school community to promote active citizenship, leadership and character building.
checkmarkSelect activities that are academically challenging for the grade level.

What’s in it for teachers?

$500 Grant
  • Funding may be used for classroom materials, one field trip, computer software and educational supplies.
  • Teachers may apply individually or in teams.

How will grants be awarded?

Review Committee will select Applications that reflect connections between:

checkmark Measurable realistic goals and objectives
checkmark A budget that aligns with goals and objectives.

What are the responsibilities of awarded teachers?

Teachers are required to complete the Activities/Events listed in timetable below:
