We will learn about "Winterizing Your Roses" with Teresa Mosher, .

 

American Rose Society Judge and Consulting Rosarian. She was president of New England Rose Society and enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for roses with others. Her topic is Winterize Your Roses.

Fall Pumpkin Centerpiece Workshop

10-12 am

Get together with Garden Club friends to create a fall centerpiece.

You will need to bring a Small Pumpkin (any color), Glue gun & glue sticks if you have them, Clippers, Plate for display, Dried flowers, pods, grasses, dried leaves, pine cones, etc. Bring extra materials to share. Start collecting materials now while they still look attractive.

There will be several locations. Workshops will be outside, weather permitting at members’ homes. Email Nancy Miller (use her contact email in your Yearbook or website Roster) by October 13 to reserve your spot.

Garden Therapy

Fall Pumpkin Arrangement

12:30pm

The Latham School is eager to have the NGC garden ladies return and provide much needed garden therapy.  The first project, to create a Fall centerpiece, is scheduled for Friday, October 22 at 12:30pm.

The Outreach Committee is seeking a group of volunteers to help the students with their floral creation. The committee encourages all new and old members to join in on the fun and satisfaction experienced while working with the students. The garden ladies bring joy to their day!

Master Gardener Mary Bowker ‘Naturalizing Your Garden with Natives’

Mary Bowker is a member of the Master Gardener class of 2013 and the past president of the Master Gardener Association of Cape Cod. She is a member of the Sandwich Tree and Landscape Advisory Committee and former president of the Sandwich Garden Club.
